Kid's Karate Class

We now provide a family class.  The class is tailored for students ages six through twelve and their parents.  Parents are welcome to participate or watch any class. 

Each class will be taught by one or more of our Certified Black Belt instructors on Monday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Friendly House Community Center. 

Parents and prospective students are encouraged to observe class before joining.  Your first class is free!  We believe Karate training is very important to our children's health, well being and self esteem.

Dress Code

For the first three classes, sweats and a T-Shirt are fine.  Then a traditional white karate uniform is required.  Good uniforms can be found at www.karate-mart.com.  They also have a fantastic sizing chart.

Fees

Children

$10.00 per month per child under the age of 12

Parents Participating with Children

Class tuition is $35.00 for the parent and the first child is free.  Additional children are $10.00.

Requirements

Shotokan Karate of America Membership

$50.00/yr (first year), $75 (subsequent years) for the first two family members, others are $10 each.
